How to Refresh Bread

To bring your loaf back to freshly-baked-life: Thaw bread if frozen, and preheat oven to 350 degrees. Use your hands and tap water to moisten the entire loaf. Bake on an open baking sheet for 5-10 mins.

Enjoy!

Storage

Store your fresh bread in the bag that it came in with the end folded and sealed. It can be stored at room temperature for 10 days to 2 weeks, then it should be discarded, as there are no preservatives in Starter's bread.

Freeze

To freeze a whole loaf: Wrap the loaf in plastic wrap, then freeze it in a freezer bag. When ready to eat, defrost the loaf on your counter for about an hour. Use your hands and tap water to moisten the outside of the loaf. Bake it in the oven or toaster oven at 350 degrees for 5-10 minutes, and it will be just like freshly baked!

To freeze slices: Using parchment paper and a sheet pan, lay your sliced bread out in a single layer and freeze, Once frozen, place the slices in a freezer bag. You can thaw them as you need them or toast them frozen.
